From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/1/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008 1 response   The parking really was a total nightmare (one large multi-level parking garage with walkways to the apartments). People tended to park in more than one spot (someone with a Hummer even moved in--someone very STUPID'--and surprise, they were always taking up two spots). When we were moving out the complex was implementing "paid" parking spots (primo spots near the stairways); I'm sorry, but I doubt that will help much with the stupid people who can't park. If you can deal with that, the complex is pretty nice, the landscaping and layout of the apartments themselves are great. There is a lake on one side of the apartments, which is nice when it's filled (it was empty for half of our lease--hence the three stars on "Grounds"). The walls did seem a bit thin, either that or we had really noisy neighbors. Lighting was good; felt very safe. Maintenance was friendly and responsive. The staff is nice but seemed to either over- or under-react to the issues like parking (I guess it depends on who was working that day). Oh yeah, and the management kept fixing these little crappy "gates" (really just gutter drainage pipes on a rotary arm) and some stupid resident(s) would always run into them and break them again... possibly intentionally because the office was always out of the little key fobs that one needs to open the "gate." If the management is getting a hand on all of these issues now--which I hope they are--it would be a great place to live. There will always be stupid/inconsiderate people at any apartment complex; the management just needs to do a better job keeping them in check here. Still, I recommend living here, as it was one of the better apartment complexes I've lived at (parking notwithstanding). vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
