Not Only is This Place a Dump - Management Will Commit Fraud in Court to Keep Your Deposit

Do not move to this or any property that CNC Manages. They manage properties in 9 state and screwing people in all 9 states. When you average out their approval ratings for all their properties it is less than 30%. Check out the reviews for their other properties - same stories - different locations.

You will pay a high dollar for rent and ammenities. FYI - ammenities that NEVER work. The "gated community" has gates that don't work. The apartments are run- down and poorly maintained. Getting things repaired is a joke.

This is an overpriced apartment complex. When you tour the community the staff is very pleasant. Once you are a tenant you will be dealing with the evil twins of the staff that you toured the complex with. You will then be tortured by incompetent and uncaring staff.

When you move out they will try to charge you for anything and everything. BEWARE!

A former tenant that decided not to put up with CNC keeping her deposit filed a lawsuit in small claims court. The case went to trial. CNC Management took a picture of her front door showing the apartment number. CNC handed the judge pictures of a trashed apartment and claimed it was this former tenant's apartment. The former tenant viewed the pictures and realized that it wasn't her apartment. It wasn't even her floor plan.

The former tenant handed the judge the actual pictures of her apartment. The former tenant was savvy enough to have a person in a couple of the pictures that showed her pictures were the real pictures of her apartment.

The judge was furious. The tenant had moved out a long time before this case was up for trial yet the judge noticed that the pictures that CNC handed to her were developed the day before the trial date. The judge awarded this former tenant THREE TIMES her deposit and some other money. CNC gives new meaning to the word corrupt. Judges don't like being handed manufactured evidence. The court's ruling and scolding clearly revealed what she thought of CNC's illegal actions. CNC will do anything to get your money, including illegal acts such as manufacturing evidence! CNC should have been prosecuted for the fraud that they perpetrated upon the court.

Please fight back when you leave this very corrupt complex. Protect yourself by taking a lot of photos of the move in condition of your apartment. If you didn't do so when you moved in do it now. Better late than never. Take plenty of photos when you move out. When they try to stick it to you for normal wear and tear fight back.

Those of you thinking about moving to any of these properties - DON'T DO IT. There are much better places that you can find to rent for the high amount of rent that you will pay at this complex. Monterone is where the rent is high and quality is low.

notmiserable--your name should be "notintelligent". Since you're obviously a member of the worthless staff here at Monterone (probably Olivia), I'll address this to you. The tenants here are under no obligation to "treat [you] the way you wish to be treated..with respect" or to "try a little honey"--get something straight--we have binding legal contracts that are not being honored by CNC and Monterone. More bluntly--YOU WORK FOR US. I don't expect to have to butter up MY EMPLOYEES to get them to do their jobs.

I always wonder why people have time to run down a place that they live...if this a home they purchased from a builder and they were unhappy...would they write about it....no they woud be content where they live...you should have take more time to review the Monterone before you moved in and then you would not be so unhappy that you have to write rotten things...I've been here over a year and I have been through the original owners and now CNC and there is not bit of difference...I have been through 3 staff changes and this is the best staff that I've seen....I've had no problems betting things done...I guess that the best thing I can say is that if you treat people the way you wish to be treated...with respect and consideration of their job...then you would be treated that way...but if you treat the people in an ugly or nasty manner...then you shall be treated that way...I've always believed that you get more with honey than vinegar...you should try a little honey when you submit a request and don't be mean, nasty and ugly such that your letter here suggests....and you can always move out when you lease is up and we will all be better off....and by the way I have extended my lease until November, 2009 because I have been extremely happy here....and my rent is not higher than any other apt that is of this caliber...I guess my honey works!!!!!! Glad to be here

My daughter lives in these apartments. I just visited her recently. I was shocked at how run down they have become. The so called security gate was broken again. We were woken in the middle of the night several times by people arguing in the parking lot. My daughter says this happens all the time and it doesn't do any good to complain to management. She no longer feels safe in her apartment and can't wait for her lease to be up. I thought she was exaggerating until I visited. I worry about her now. I will take your advice and we will take pictures and have someone from management do a walk through with us when she moves out. My husband and I will be there. If they won't walk through, we will get an outside witness to do so.

Disgruntledresident78681 - I could not have said it better. Of course Olivia is "notmiserable" she is busy making everyone living in the property miserable. She says if "this was a home purchased from a builder and they were unhappy, they would be content........" Wrong, they would have some options to address the situation. Not so with CNC - they are crooks. There is no one to appeal to. The only option is a law suit. I had to laugh at this review, as it was clearly written by staff. I have yet to hear from any acutal resident that they love the place and want to continue living there. PLEASE!! If she really believes people need to kiss their butt to be treated nice she is more out there than I ever realized. It is their job to treat the residence with respect. These are paying tenants. DUH!

Since you no longer work/live here Olivia, why don't you stop responding to the blogs? You need to move on!
