been here, read all the negs. on this apartment ratings, talked to peter in the office about it, and basically.. he's right. and i didnt even think about it. u can't make everyone happy. seriously. the people that are happy, or that dont have a complaint.. they're not gonna get on here and say how happy they are, now the one that do aren't happy, of course, they're gonna wanna do anything they can to bash the complex.
but anyhow. seems like it's the same thign that everyone's yapping about. and its because of the "company cnc". well i tell u what.. the staff plus the residents, plus YOU.. that's what makes the complex. not the company. i see people wanting to move out jsut because of the CNC name. that just like selling your jaguar because ford bought our jaguar.. that's stupid. are they making new rules' are they gonna all of a sudden come into your house without u knowing', are they gonna unleash pitt bulls are night or something'' shesh. take a grip and settle down. there are no such thing as a perfect apartment. but i tell u wat. this place is probably the best place i've lived so far. and i'll tell ya'll why. i've live at class aa apartments, amli @ scofield, amli on park at walnut creek, stoneliegh at davis, deerpark at brodie.. etc.. but.. this takes the cake. even though i've only lived here 2-3 months, i've did my OWN check list on this place.. and i'll tell you from my perspective what i think. since most of my friends usually come to me to ask about apartments, i believe i have somewhat of a good apartment person's eye towards things.
pros: -u can't hear your neighbors through the walls. even when i moved in, when i met my neighbors, i asked them and they didnt even hear me move in. -there are no crazy/ghetto kids running around in the driveways. -24 hr workoutroom with key remote access so u dont worry about non residents -my nieghbors were nice enough to come say hi to me. -i seen those same pictures of some lady's place looking like crap and i inspected my whole place inside out and up side down.. and the paint is very nice, the trim molding are good, there's no wall paper, the doors fit perfectly when closed with no seeping holes, the grout on the tile was just okay.. but none of the tiles were wobbling at all, no cracks in the wall, the carpet was very very nice, windows all worked, blinds are nice venitian like blinds, so overall.. great! -front trash pick up.. -very quiet on the spa side.. but that's more then wat i can say for the amenity side.. cus if u think about it.. if you're by were all the pools, and basketball courts and tennis courts, you're bound to get people running around and stuff. i rather jsut walk across the street and have quiet at night.. -maintance.. okay, so i called for maintence to work on why my hot water doesn't fill up the tub, and 1 hour later (yes, i said 1 hr) the guy showed up at my doorstep, did some twiddling with my water heater, and told me to test it out, so that sat, i tested it out, and yet again, when i filled up the bath only half of it fill with hot water, called in, and since it's not an emergency, they'd have someone out first thing monday morning. and i was fine with it, since i could still shower with hot water. mon morn came and there he was, came in, fixed it, told me he had to get something and be right back in 10 mins, and yup.. he was back in 10 mins. so basically.. maintance, i'm very impressed. in my last place, it took them 3 weeks and 5 times me going into the office to complain about my waste disposal dripping water in my sink, for them to come out. this took one hour for someone to come. then the following monday. so yea. i'm impressed. anyhow.. -every time im in the office, i get greeted by everyone to see if i've been helped. i like that. -no deposit(well for me at least) -electronic ac/heater -the garage is big enough to fit my car with more stuff and room to put anything else. -it seems pretty darn safe. -there's no loud car wtih bass pounding or anything. -the ground are well maintained, seems like there's always someone doing something there.. gardenin or cleaning or something' but yea.. there's poops on the sides where people walk their dogs.. but why would u need to walk on that if it's not even remotely in an area of walking or if there's a trail next door''' those side lil' areas of greenage are for pets to use the restroom. i dont mind it. much cus i dont go around walking on those areas. (maybe ya'll talking about the court area, which i dont go so i dont know about those areas, i'm talking bout the side by the fence where no one goes) -and yea.. i believe i got a very nice price for a very nice place with alot of space and of very good quality. the outside is very nice too.
cons: -the water heater needs to be bigger, so we dont run into that not being able to fill up the tub with hot water deal. but they fixed it. -security gate is broke on the spa side.. wasn't broke last month tho.. so not an ongoing issue -one of the basketball goal is broken (kids will be kids.. u can't stop other kids from going on that court) -the playground for kiddos suck.. they need to get a new one or add to it or something. -pet rent.. wat the hell.. u have to pay money everymonth to have a pet'' that's like paying money everymonth for ur own child.. but i dont have a dog so it doens't bother me. i jsut think it's stupid. -parking for vistors isn't good if u have mroe than one visitor.. -oh yes, and the floor plan for the 1/1 3 story apartment is wrong on the website.. i made my only corrections to the floorplan and will post it below for those interested. -closet isn't that big.
so as u can see.. minor things that are on the con side.. things that dont even really matter.. cus most of it doesn't affect me really. (pet rent, basketball, playgournd, etc)
that's pretty much sums it up.
so.. if u dont want noise.. i say dont move near it.. i know a pool view looks nice, but if u can't handle the noise.. move on the other side where there's no noise! be smart about it. research. dont sign a lease if u're not sure because if u break a lease, u will have to pay for it.. it's like breaking any other kinda contract.. like a cell phone contract or satatilite contracts.. or whatever. most of the bad reports on here are about people wanting to get out of their lease or breaking it.

why did i take time to write this review' well.. quite frankly, it's very nice place, and with all the "no's" that i saw, i dont want it to scare nice people away and let the bad ones move in, ya know' like i said before, it's the people that make the community.

I think this person works for the APT complex....Never have I heard such bull....I lived on both sides and I could hear my neighbors belching, talking, walking. I could even hear them doing the nasty.....so this person is either working for the complex or is being paid by them.

Why don't you e-mail this person and ask them? I've been in touch with them, and they do not appear to be employees. They are also now concerned about the "move-out madness" some tenants are experiencing.

so there was a month that someone had stuck their hands into the drop rent box and stole alot of peoples rent. however, i got a letter on my door saying that i didnt pay like on the 7th.. so i went to the office, explained that i did however turn in the check and asked what the hell was going on.. and they told me about the incident. they didnt charge me. told me to do a stop check on the rent check which was $34, and for me to take that amount off my rent (as if it were a credit back.. even tho it wasn't their fault). and finally got it settled. soo.. there's another plus. oh i finally went into the office to complain about how the gates on my side never close at night.. well guess what.. 3 days later.. they've closed every night now. and have been working since. (not like gate really keep out the bad) but it was the point or someone doing something.
