I lived at Parkwood Terrace from Nov. 07 to Apr. 08. The place was an alright experience. The only problems we had were getting a working dryer. We never did. So the offices solution was to remove them, which did not help me in any way. The only thing that really made me mad, was after i moved out, my deposit came back to me minus carpet cleaning. I cleaned the place top to bottom, and I used my shampooer to clean the carpet. I can understand maybe , if I didn't clean the place, but I did. They also deducted painting from my deposit, and I have a reciept from Wal-Mart for paint that i had color matched and already did the touch up on a few spots on the wall. So if you move in, don't expect a full deposit coming your way when you move out.

I know what you mean. When I moved out it took them over 4 weeks to get my deposit back to me. They kept putting me off saying they had up to 4 weeks to get it to me. After 4 weeks and no deposit, I called back. They said I wasn't getting it because their books showed a late rent fee that I had never paid and that it had taken ALL my deposit money. I told them I most certainely DID NOT and I had the cancelled checks to prove it. They said they would go back and check their books again, then call me back. About 2 weeks later my deposit check FINALLY showed up in the mail. My advice to anyone planning on dealing with these apartments is this; keep careful records of every transaction my make with them. It could make the difference between getting your deposit back or not.
