Steeple Chase Apartments

A good place to call home From: mboltonlvn Date posted: 5/28/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006 1 response   We have been living at Steeplechase since mid-September 2005 and are quite happy here. We do not have any problems with noise, our neighbors are all courteous, and the atmosphere is quite nice. A new management company has taken over the last few months and have taken care of all of the repair issues in our apartment, which previous management did not do. The new management has also improved the landscape, but took down the trees at the pool which I am very disappointed about. I have not seen any problems with the gates, but I do agree that some drivers drive too fast especially considering there are a lot of children that live here. I have noticed regular patrols by the Round Rock PD, which is next door to the complex, and have not seen or heard of any issues. The only things that I would say could be improved, at least in our particular unit, are a new kitchen faucet (sits kind of low and hard to get big items under), a new bathtub (permanent stains and needs new grouting), new carpet and vinyl flooring, and maybe some new cabinet doors and coutnertops (still funtional, but dated and somewhat worn). One huge positive is the water pressure, great water pressure. It can be frustrating trying to make a left on to Palm Valley due to the traffic, but that is a city issue so we have to grit and bear this one. All in all I would highly recommend Steeplechase, they are a good value for the price and the new management seems to be on the ball.
