Hilltop Meadow

I have to say, when I looked at the apartment, everything seemed great. The management was very helpful and seemed they would do anything for you. That's only because they want you to move in though. I will say this, that the maintenance staff is great.
The bathrooms are way too small with not enough drawers or any kind of storage space. The kitchens have hardly any cabinet space, and no pantry. The living room and dining room seemed open and spacious, but once we moved in, we realized the layout made it difficult to have our furniture arranged any way for things to be easily accessable. They also have no amenities whatsoever. There is a very small courtyard in between the two buildings. There is a fountain and a table, and that is it.
My huge warning though is that the floors and walls are almost non-existent when it comes to sound. I am on the second floor and have had the cops called on us numerous times for people walking up our stairs, movies playing too loud. One time, we even had the cops called because my room mate and her husband were playing with their nurf guns (we're still kids at heart), and our neighbors thought there was domestic violence going on with someone being slammed against a wall. The funny thing, in a way, was that no one was by a wall. That proves how thin the walls are.
I do have to say the good things though. The bedrooms are a good size. The balcony is huge. And because the complex is so small (24 apartments between two buildings), you can get to know everyone (sometimes a good thing and sometimes bad).
I'll say this, for the price, the apartment size is great, but the apartments themselves are decent. If you know that you won't have people over who are loud in the slightest way, then it is for you. I however, am still a young adult who has my friends over at any time of the day and I still go out and come home late at night. I would never rent from this place again, personally. I would only suggest it for older, quieter people.
