Even though these apartments are called the crossing and under new management they still have many underlying problems. We have been here four months and in those months these are just a few of the problems we have encountered. First was waking up to the ceiling over our bed leaking when it rained progressed to other parts of the bedroom. After laying some tar on the roof on the next rain it didnt leak there but leaked in a mid wall in the living room onto one of our computers. Also the window in the kitchen leaked profusly and so did the ceiling in the living room next to our t.v. When we open our apartment door to step out the ceiling there also leaks at stair way. Had reported the problem several times in rights never fixed. They just painted over it. They do not put notices on your door when the water is going to be shut off. This happens a couple of times a month. Twice in one week we have not had hot water. Also in the same week our "brand new" ac unit has stopped working for a third time in six weeks. Cant get any body during a reasonable amount of time to get over and fix it. Oh yes and they have lost our spare key. Nice to know somebody out there has a key to our apartment. Also the noise is horrible. People in the complex are eather certifialbly nuts, thugs, or just rude. There is never any parking. cops are always having to come over for something. The maintnance guy is rude and when he cant fix something instead of saying let me say let me see what i can do. He states rudely. "what do you want me to do about it"' Oh yes and the mold in the shower was reported when we moved in and it has still not been taken care of. If you move here your will inevitably regret it and you should expect that when there is issues you will have to put in at least 3 work orders before any body comes to even check it out. Half the washer and dryers are broken in building and none have been repaired or even atempted to be fixed. Pool has been shut down since we moved in and only opened once and then the health department shut it down. When we asked the maintnance guy what was going on he says " i dont know what you are talking about go ahead and go swim" When there was very clearly a sign on the pool and with a big chain around it stating shut down.
