My lease will be up in July, and I cannot wait. Don't live here unless you are lucky enough to have 3 friends that want to live with you -but good luck finding an empty unit to make that happen. I hated living here. Sure, they have a "roomate matching profile" but no one uses this. Plus, the profiles are irrelevant to how well you are going to get along with your roomate. Trust me. So basically, you move into an apartment with people you don't know. Also, they don't inform you if someone will be moving into your apartment. You could be hum-hoing around in your bathrobe and in comes a new roomate and their family. If you don't like your roomates, your screwed, unless you feel like paying a lot of money to switch rooms. I had to switch rooms. Oh yeah, and you can hear everything that goes on in your apartment. I mean EVERYTHING. Another downside is that matienance comes whenever they want. They'll knock on your door and open it before you can get to it. Yeah, they'll come in your room even if you're asleep in your bed. Angelo place is also party central and is always loud, especially on the weekends. (what else would you expect from a student community') They also try to rip you off. They want you to renew your lease for the next your for the same price that you signed up with ($435), but are offering people who sign brand new leases the price of $399.
I could see Angelo place being cool, only if you know your roomates, or happen to like anyone and everyone you meet. But please, if you do decide to live here, tell the office to notify your roomate first. I mean, you don't want to walk in on them doing something.

I don't know what your issue is. They notify roommates if someone is moving in, I have found notes on my front door about this! It say congrats your getting a new roommate soon. Also I just renewed my lease at $399 and I signed last year at $439, when you renew you rate goes down. Don't get on and grip when your information isn't correct about anything! Management helps fix any situation about your apartment. I had roommate issues and they explained everything. They don't just lease someone in your apartment the person gets to choose, I got to pick my own apartment and so does everyone else. Get over it! "But please, if you do decide to live here, tell the office to notify your roomate first. I mean, you don't want to walk in on them doing something." Really you shouldn't be doing anything in the living room you wouldn't want anyone walking through the door to see. I love living here and can't wait to live here in the fall!! IF you tell the people in the office they try to fix every issue but if you don't tell them how can they fix it? This is the best apartments i've ever lived in!

Haha I'll bet you work at Angelo Place...some of what you say is true though - my rate did go down...but I've had 3 new roommates and they have NEVER informed me. The staff is OK. Some of them are very helpful, others are a pain to deal with.
