Keeping looking...

When I first checked out Angelo Place, I was pretty impressed...W/D in unit, pool, courtesy officer, newer style buildings, furnished...ect. At the time, I felt that it would be a safe and fun place to live. Now that I've been here for a few months, my viewpoint has a changed...I'll be as fair and precise as possible.

Roommates: I've been VERY lucky when it comes to roommates. They have all been very respectful and nice. Some of my other friends in the complex have horror stories about their roommates. Also, as many have stated, they don't tell you about your new roommate. The new guy/girl just walks in unannounced. It's a bit annoying.

Office Personnel: The office persons are predominantly students...its a bit annoying at times. Some of them are incredibly nice and very helpful and others are argumentative and lazy. A few months ago I had a problem and went to the office to bring it up with them. The young lady who was suppose to help me, argued with me instead. I ended being right and she NEVER apologized. Maybe she was having a bad day...but none-the-less, very inappropriate.

Maintenance: Like most raters have said, they knock once and walk right in. They don't care what you're doing or how you're dressed. Now, the older Hispanic guy is really nice and helpful...the "other" guy, not so much. Recently, the "other" guy was fixing my lights in the kitchen and walked right into my room holding a piece of the fridge that had been broken off BEFORE we all had even came to Angelo Place and demanded that someone pay for it...I was shocked but politely said that it was done before all 4 of us had gotten to Angelo Place...he then said, "I don't care. One of you is going to pay for this." It ended when I closed the door in his face. Really' Is that how you treat a customer!! ***MAKE SURE you fill out that inspection sheet thoroughly if you move in AND get a copy of it!!***

Grounds: The place is filled with a ton of college kids who have no respect for the people who have to clean up around here. So, the place does get trashed often. I will say that the ground keepers are quick to clean the beer cans and trash up.

Noise: Its bad, really bad. This place is party central...if you're looking for a quiet place to study and get a good nights rest - stay away.

Parking: The complex has plenty of parking spots.

Construction: My biggest complaint has to be the walls. They are so thin you can hear EVERYTHING.

Security: None. Yes, they have a courtesy officer but of course he doesn't patrol the area. My friend had his bike messed with and other people have had their cars broken into.

Bottom Line: For those who like to party - you'll love this place. If you're here for military technical school or attending ASU...and want a peaceful and quiet atmosphere to study - stay away.

P.S. For the person (who probably works at Angelo Place) who is saying that they always get notices about new roomies - yeah right. How is it that almost all the reviewers have the same complaint.
