It was only after we had already committed ourselves to moving in that we find out about all the small charges here and there. We were first lead to believe that the covered parking was included. We found out after we signed the lease that it was not and the reason why nobody had mentioned a price to us what that there were none available. We waited 4 months to get one while my small car got beat up every day in the parking lot by overly large trucks that just did not care what cars they hit. We were then told it would be $20 for water since there were 2 people occupying the apartments. Our large dog weighing in at 10 lbs also cost us an extra $10/month and a $600 deposit with $400 being nonrefundable. The first day we were told we could move in, we walked into our new apartment only to find that the carpet was still covered with paint covers, a paint bucket left in there, and a boom box. The manager had not even checked this out before we attempted to move in. It took them 2 days to fix it after that. Then we were promised that our rusted sink drain would be fixed within the next week; it was not. We also reported that our faucet broke, but the maintenance man came over, said it was fine, and then they charged us for breaking apartment property when we moved out. They did eventually take the charge off although it was under the assumption that we had overpaid our water and covered parking. If you are located in some areas of the complex that are only covered with covered parking and you are not lucky enough to have one, you are stuck parking clear across the parking lot and are forced to hike to your apartment.

AND, AS OF RIGHT NOW, AT LEAST 3 BUILDINGS ARE INVESTED WITH MICE! When we were moving out, my boyfriend asked the manager about this and we were told by the manager that nobody else had complained about this, although our upstairs neighbor told us he saw one crawling up his curtains the other day. I know of somebody else there that was also told to not tell anybody else about the mice problems they are having. In the last month we were living there, we caught at least 11 mice underneath our kitchen sink and our apartment was littered with mouse poo. Since we had a small dog and couldn't lay down poison, we were stuck either using the apartment s ineffective sticky traps or buying our own traditional traps. We chose the latter. They also have let their fence fall into disrepair. A simple job of nailing a few posts together was made worse when they let it go and a huge wind storm blew it over. They are also the only apartment complex I know of in town that requires you to cary renters insurance although the lease at one point says you have to have it and on the last page it says you don't.

I cannot recommend this apartment to even people I do not like. Nothing gets fixed yet they try to charge you for it when you move out. You have plenty of house guests, and you will be nickel and dimed to death. If this sounds good to you, by all means move in!
