First of all for all military members: you do not need to put a down deposit go to the Housing Office and have them fill out the paperwork. They will not tell you that you do not need to put a deposit down.
Secondly, they charge you for outrageous electricity when you do not even use that much. They will also do an assumption estimate when you move out and not do an actual reading and they will try to take your whole deposit for it.
Thirdly, they are nice at first but after you move in they are not very helpful.
Fourthly, there are designated places for children to play however children toys are all over the sidewalks and playing in the parking lots. These children will ding your car if you have a nice one. Even the carport that you have to pay 15 dollars for will not protect it from children.
Fifthly, pets are only allowed to do their business in one place and they go everywhere.
Sixtly, you are required to put down a 300 down for pets plus it is unrefundable and a 15 monthly charge. It is outrageous. Any other apartment you get it back and do not have a monthly charge.
Lastly, they are the most expensive apartments and do not even provide basics such as cable,water, and sewer. They also try to keep all of your deposits regardless of what you do. Also, there are equally nice apartments for much lower prices such as Raintree and Koberlin Apartments.
Parking: All the good parking does not have a cover so the fifteen dollars per carport is useless. Everyone fights for the those good parking spaces even though they do not have a carport. They will also not be able to accomodate all carports you rent together.
Noise: The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything your neighbors are doing. Literally. Also, when you call to have the security guard have a talk with them versus the cops they never seem to get a hold of them. It is easier to bang on the wall then to waste your time calling the office.
Grounds: There are childrens toys everywhere. You can not walk on the walkway because of them and you can not walk on the grass due to the dog doodoo.
Safety: It is safe however all the nice apartments are as safe as well.
Construction: It is okay. It just seems to fall all apart when you move in.
Maintenance: It takes a while to come out and fix it. When they do come out they want you to give it time to work.. What is that all about I have no clue. We did not have heater for two months while there. The water heater broke in December and I kept complaining the water was not warm enough until they finally came out three weeks later. The maintenance people are friendly and helpful.
