This apartment can be ghetto. There are pot holes in the parking lot the size of my car. And it isn't to small of a car. If you have small children don't take the risk of living up stairs. The railing is so spread apart I could fall through. I almost lost my nephew through the bars when he was climbing up the stairs. Our refridge broke 2 months ago and still doesn't work. I can say that rent isn't bad. but when you spend more money on eating out then it isn't worth it. The manager can be very rude. maintenance is nice but can't seem to get the fridge going after 3 timees. there is no storage. You have to cross the street to go to the pool. There are only three washers and 2 dryers and 1 dryer doesn't even work. the laundry room always smells rawten eggs. I recommend looking for a different place if you are looking for something suitable for a family. Parking is fine during the day but at night parking is ackward because of no parking lines. But, there is parking. Parking is poorly lit but the dumpsters on the other side of the builing well lit and feel safer then the parking lot. Loud fire trucks pass in the middle of the night waking you up. lots of traffic on Garfield.
