I lived in Newport Village a few months ago and boy I'm glad I moved out! I've been reading everyone's reviews and I completely agree with every word they've typed. There were so many things wrong not only inside the apartments but outside as well. My apartment had a leak running from the bathroom above us. It actually made our ceiling collapse into our tub. Everytime it rained a lot, water would come in through our front door. When I walked too and from my car, I'd constantly fall in a hole that's in the grass and then there was a thing sticking up in the concrete about an inch and I'd trip over that constantly. The laundry facilities suck. The pool, everytime I wanted to go swimming, Rachel, the lady that works for Newport would always have her kids and their friends in the residents pool. There was never a parking spaces and when I found one, I'd have to walk about a block to get to my apartment. It was pathetic! DO NOT MOVE HERE... They're cheap, but you get what you pay for!
