Cheap but Annoying

Although the rent is low, the apartments are amazingly annoying. The pools, which were closed until well into the warm season, are not terribly clean and there is no skimmer for the residents to pick the leaves out with. The screens, ripped when we moved in, remain unrepaired for months. We're lucky, as other apartments we see have tattered rags that pass for screens.
If you need something repaired, good luck. The staff is very friendly and seem helpful, but nothing ever gets done. There was broken glass on the tennis courts, reported weekly, for 3 months until we cleaned it up ourselves.
The management does not, so far as I've been able to tell, get in anyone's business. They may as well not be there at all, to be honest.
