If you like roaches...

Okay, I lived here with my fiance for 6 months (the one and only lease we signed up for) back in 96. I realize that was quite a while back, but the memory has haunted me to this day. We were so excited because it was our first apartment. The day our apartment was "ready" we got the keys and went straight to it to explore our new space together. We opened the door and, I swear to you this is not an exaggeration, there were thousands of those little kitchen roaches in the living room alone. We couldn't even walk into the apartment without crunching them under our feet on the carpet, having them falling on us from the ceiling above *shiver*. It was after hours so we couldn't contact anyone in the office so we decided to go to Wal-Mart and buy a few bug fogger things to try and kill the majority of the disgusting things. My fiance set them up because I couldn't make myself go into that apartment again. We came back the next day and told the office, they sent someone over and apologized but told us they thought it was the people who lived below us who had the infestation and that they roaches were coming up from their apartment so there was nothing they could do! We had signed the stupid lease and being young we didn't think we had any rights so we vaccuumed up the beasts and went about cleaning up the rest of the place. The power had been off for a few days I guess and there were even roaches in the refridgerator and freezer.
The remainder of our stay was not as bad as the first impression, but I would never live there again. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
