I thought the stairs were dangerous before they were "repaired." The stairs no longer swayed, but you had to be sure to step in the right spot--not to get a nail in your foot or make the entire panel fall off.

And once you were safely on the ground, you had to get to your car and manage to get it out of the space you'd found. Even with a compact car mauevering out of the space was a hassle. Trying to drive through the parking lot was good preparation for an obstacle course.
