The laundry room closest to my apartment has a huge hole in the wall - two feet across and has had since I moved here. No attempt has ever been made to fix it.
The swimming pool closest to my apartment has been closed for two years. It never opened last year despite repeated assurances that it would open 'any day'. After having all last year and all winter, repair was finally begun this year at about the same time the other pool was opened for the summer. Somebody shows up one or two days a week and works for a few hours on it. At this rate it will not open this year either, but if you ask when it will open, you will be told one to two weeks. I know, I have asked and so have my neighbors.
One of my neighbors had a broken window. It took over a week to fix it.
The volleyball court they advertise when you are moving in has never had a net on it.
The sauna they advertise when you are moving in has never worked.
The basketball court and tennis courts are falling apart.
You pay all utilities except garbage. They do not provide even basic cable or water. There are better places in town who pay this for you and by the time you add it all up the other places are quite a bit cheaper.
Even in the short time I have lived here, the decline in the service and in the quality of tenants moving in has been noticeable. There were even signs posted around a couple of weeks ago warning of a robbery in the complex.
On the positive side, the apartments are a nice size. Not great but better than a lot. Parking is not as bad as some of the places if have visited. The mall is close by and there is a supermarket next door. There is also another apartment complex next door and I intend to live there by the start of school.
