It's not there's a large pool of outstanding apartments. The apartment itself was okay. I had no real complaints about that. It wasn't anything to write home about, but it was clean enough and in decent repair. However, it was noisy. I knew whenever my neighbors were in heat. Management seemed nice enough to work with while I was living there. There was only one thing that really made me mad. I figured I might get charged for the living room blinds since my cat had made it a point to stick his head through them on an hourly basis and bent them beyond repair. However, I didn't expect to hear nothing until almost a year after moving out. One day out of the blue after I'd gone to my next assignment, I received a note from a collection agency saying that I better cough up $77.00 to Sunset Apartments or else it would go on my credit report, numerous attempts to reach me had failed, blah, blah, blah. This wouldn't have bothered me 7 months before that, I figured I might owe them something. What bothered me was getting a collection agency nasty-gram threatening me when no attempt to contact me had ever been made. I thought that was really piss-poor. However, as far as living there was concerned it was okay. They accept pets and have a W/D hook-up in the unit. If you're going to the schoolhouse at Goodfellow and you need a place to live for 6 months, you could do a lot worse. It's not the nicest place I've ever lived, but judging from reviews of other apartments, it's probably one of the nicest in San Angelo.
