In 1999, my then 4 year old son and myself found an immediate need for temporary housing. Being a Police Officer for the past 24 years and knowing the crime rates for various locations throughout San Angelo, I had no difficulty in choosing the Willow Run Apartments as being the safest place to reside. The facilities and grounds are maintained to the highest degree of excellence and the owners and staff of the complex work hard at keeping the facility a quite, friendly and affordable source of living. San Angelo's population and business growth has steadily moved to the farthest side of town, however with the recently completed Houston Harte Freeway being one block away, driving to the other side of town is now less than 5 minutes away. Military occupants also enjoy a 5 minute drive to the Goodfellow Air Force base. As mentioned, in 1999 this was to be only a temporary source of residency, however to the current date, this is a place I still call home with worry free living and one of the safest places to raise my child and with one of San Angelo's best rated elementary schools being only blocks away from the complex.
