To start my review, the laundry room is not good. The sign on the wall says "please fill the machines half way to prevent overflowing", however, they do not charge you half. The cost is one dollar to wash. The dryers will dry your clothes fifty percent of the time and the cost is fifty cents. There is one machine that always overflows and instead of fixing it they put up a wet floor sign which you can see in my pictures.
I have found several roaches in my one month stay. They do spray for insects but I'm not sure it is effective. My shower does not drain and I stand in two inches of water every time I shower. The maintenance man does not know how to snake a drain and only uses Drano which is not effective. I asked him to snake it and he said he is going to do it. I haven't seen him back here yet. I had a broken window when I moved in and they fixed that quickly along with replacing knobs on the stove that were so worn you couldn't read what temperature you were setting the oven.
Everything inside the apartment is very basic. Cheap cabinets with no handles, door molding for base molding etc. The carpet was cleaned before I moved in, not replaced. Other apartment complexes replaced their carpet when a new tenant moved in. In their defense the did move us in very quickly. However I know they do not replace the carpet because I have seen other tenants come and go.
The complex is away from everything and there is next to no traffic which is nice. It is close to base which is why I moved in.
The air conditioners are old and inefficient. Ours was not getting cold and instead of fixing the problem the maintenance man refilled it. If it's leaking it needs fixed then refilled. So, I am waiting for it to stop working again.
Our neighbor had his car robbed and his stereo stolen. That isn't good.

There is a fire station right across the street. That is nice.

Finally, like some of the other writers mentioned, I am sure some of the staff around here are writing the positive reviews.
