Well I just moved not too long ago from the Abbey. I actually loved it!!! The only thing I hated was walking as far as I had to to get from my apartment to the pools. The floorplan was okay. I had a one bedroom apartment on the second floor.

My neighbors were OBNOXIOUS!!! Every night it seemed they would have a party. I've had to call the office MANY times on them. I had a very small infant at that time and if my neighbors were going to wake him up, someone was going to get bitched at. I've had multiple problems with them and their noise. They even caught some of the boards that are in front the bottom floor apartment on fire b/c of smoking. Yeah. That fire truck woke me up!!

As far as the staff goes, --- is a very rude person. He doesn't know how to talk to people. ---- is a very sweet woman. They did help us out a couple times with our rent being late, but after probably the second or third time it happened, --- started getting very rude with me about it.

When our lease was about to be up, they wanted to charge us $50 more dollars to renew our one bedroom. I'm sorry, but paying more than $600 for that piece of crap apartment was not worth it. I could go and get a nice 2 bedroom for about $650 - $675 a month and THAT I would pay.

As far as parking goes, I never really had to park far from my apartment, unless it was a Friday or Saturday night and I would go out and our noisy neighbors had their hoodrat friends there.

The maintainance staff is GREAT! ------- is the best thing that this apartment has going for them. He's a very sweet man and whenever I had ANY problems, he would be right there to fix them, no questions asked. (I wish I had him as a maintainance guy at my new apartment!!!)

The water bill was pretty decent for us. So no complaints there.

Oh my gosh. I left out the MOST important part of me writing this. Hahaha. I have a very friendly Boxer dog. I would always clean up after her (not very many people did this by the way). I was taking her out one day and there were two little ankle biter dogs hauling --- for both me and Gracie (my dog). I shoo'd them away and they would NOT leave. We started walking away from them and they continued to follow us. I finally see the owner of these dogs and she's just taking her time WALKING to us as she sees I'm struggling to control my dog so she doesn't hurt (she just wanted to play with them is all) them. I finally holler at her to come get her f'n dogs. She still continues to walk to us. (I don't know if she spoke English or not..but apparently she didn't). She started calling the dogs BY THEIR NAME instead of just coming to PICK THEM UP. She didn't even apologize for having her dogs RUN WITHOUT A LEASH ON..which is illegal to do in the city of SA...and is AGAINST THE RULES at this apartment complex.

I had ANOTHER incident with this lady, which INVOLVED MY KID and her DOGS!!!!! Her and her friend were out walking the dog. Me, my son, and our dog were outside on the grass (pottying). My son LOVES dogs and as they were passing by, he started walking toward them. I told her DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS OVER TO MY KID. Apparently she wasn't listening to me. I didn't want my kid NEAR her dogs. What if they were to bite my son' Then what' So she continues to ignore me. Well it pissed my dog off that those dogs were near HER territory. I couldn't exactly walk over to grab my son so I didn't have much choice but to hope to God those dogs didn't attack him. I start scooting further toward them to grab my son. Next thing I know, my dog is just standing there while her dog comes to sniff my dog. That dog got out of my dog's vision (going to sniff her butt lol) and my dog went ape-----. She tried to jump on that dog to let her know she crossed the line. It freaked THAT dog out and she started backing up and trampled on top of my son. He did a flip in the air and thankfully DIDN'T get hurt. The woman was like "Oh my god is he okay''" I'm like "Yes he's fine. Just please leave before you piss me off any more". And away she went. I called the office BOTH of these times. I don't know if anything got done about it (probably not).

The area is pretty nice. It's in a very secluded place. I would recommend this apartment ONLY if they would get rid of --- and people who don't pick up after their dogs (I couldn't tell you HOW many times I have stepped in dung b/c of irresponsible dog owners). vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l

Wow. I know exactly who you are, because I lived in your building. You may remember your cute little boxer running head on into my car one night while she was outside playing! It was so funny, because she just got up and kept on running! :-) I've had the same problems, and I just moved out, and they are trying to charge me for all sorts of crap. I'm at war with them right now. My now husband bought a car very similar to your SRT4 (same car, actually.:-)) and someone keyed it while it still had paper tags on it. The same night, someone smeared dog poop all over my car (black honda). grrr... I remember the fire truck night. I never knew what happened. I just remember the smell. we're both better off now that we're out of there though! --- and ---- are both gone, and there's a new manager, but nothing gets done, still.

LOL! Who is this!!?? lol. But that's good that they are both gone. I'm living in a much better apartment complex but the maintainance at this apartment sucks. I miss -------!!!!!!!
