I lived in Aguila Oaks for 4 years. I my car was broken into once and so was my husbands and about 7 others that same night. Car break-ins will happen ANYWHERE though. Besides that, we never had any problems. Yeah, there was the occassional car driving by with the loud music and the occasional fight in the parking lot between a guy and his chick and there was the occasional party going on all night and the occasional beer can in the parking lot....but besides all of that...I really loved those apartments. We just moved out in June to these "nicer" apartments on the N.W. side. We are paying almost a hundred more and the apartment is a lot bigger but it's not worth it. The staff here is very unprofessional and rude. They never fix anything. I still don't have a working dishwasher. If you wanna know more please referr to my review of the Whispering Oaks apartments. At Aguila oaks, they were very friendly and attended to work orders in a timely manner. I can't wait until my lease here expires. I'm trying to talk my husband into moving back. I really don't feel "at home" here. Not like I did at Aguila oaks. As for all of the negative reviews...you will find stuff like this anywhere you go!
