We paid a $350.00 pet deposit when we moved in here a year ago. Tonight the manager served us with a violation notice because "PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED!" Management says that as of MAY 2007 they were no longer allowing pets...So why wait until Feb.19 2008 to serve us with a violation' AND were is our $350.00 pet deposit refund'''' We now have 48 hours to get rid of our dog OR pay $100.00 a day!!!! AND when it comes to getting repairs made FORGET IT! We had water pouring down into our apartment for 8 days straight before the leak was fixed and here it is a month later and the kitchen cabnets are falling off the wall, there are BIG water spots all on the ceiling AND water from upstairs drips into our bath tub all the time.....PLEUS the carpets smell of mold from all the water damage. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!

Why do you say mostly black people as if black=trouble? I'm a black person and I have never caused any problems in this complex, whereas, I know of some white residents in my building who do meth; so race has nothing to do with it. I can barely understand the rest of your review with all of the spelling mistakes.

I don't know what ignorant person would express themselves in such way, ------?!?! We're all equal, & if you happen to think you're better, well then damn you... Aguila Oaks may not be the best place to live at, but it's my home, as a matter of fact, it's OUR home you dumb braud! I love being here even when things are not 100% perfect, people are nice, lots of residents have been here many years & decide to stay because it's home. Wether you're black, white, mexican, chinese, japanese, etc., we all have defects, we're not perfect, not at all. Management has gotten rid of a lot of people that were up to no good, you can actually see the difference, phase 1 or 2, well again, there's crime everywhere, it's funny how some people don't see that. Then again, whoever posted this comment must be "Virgin Mary" to be so perfect, I'm mexican, I drink, not a lot but I love having myself a GREAT ole time, I got kids, I work, I'm responsible, & like everyone here, I mind my business. If what other people do bothers you so much, I would recomend you to look the other way, or take a hike with your high class ignorant self. Want security? Hire a bodyguard, people roam at all hours at night cuz they feel like it, I would love to see if you said anything to me at night time if I was out there, don't think you would. Who cares if the place looks like a graveyard during the day? How does your apartment look? Maintenance has gotten a whole lot better since the new management, THANKS GUYS!, We have a whole lot new people moving in each day, GOOD WORK GIRLS! and ---- happens everyday, the complex is old, but looking good, & getting better, it all takes time. mold wouldn't get so bad... IF PEOPLE WOULD KEEP IT DRY, & CLEAN, or else it spreads, it's common sence. I've never been out of hot water, then again, maybe it's God's way of sending you a CLUE, stop whining, & fix your place. The pools part is true, but damn, my kids, & I took advantage of them, & enjoyed them a whole lot. And last but not least, if the place isn't safe for you, then it was a pleasure not knowing you as a neighbor. Good luck, & next time do us all a favor & pick up a dictionary when you write a report, you did make a lot of spelling mistakes, LMAO!!!

Was this last response written by managment? I lived there for almost 3 years. This has got to be one of the worst places I have every lived. You tell people to keep their apartment clean and dry, did you not read what people have been talking about. You can't keep a place dry when you have water coming out of the walls and ceilings. Maintenance is a joke, it took me 4 months before I finally gave up on having my water heater fixed. I made many calls and would be told that someone would come by but no one ever did. I know many people who have had worse problems with their apartments and they had as much luck with maintenance as I did. Even for a smoke detector that did not work. I also know a person that had a key break off in her door and went to the office every day for a week and kept getting the same run-around. She finally had to go by a new door knob and replace it herself so that she could lock her front door when she wasn't home. You also said that it might be god's way of sending them a clue and to fix their place, isn't that what maintenance is supposed to do? As far as people staying there, I know alot of residents that have lived there for many years and they are LEAVING. My old neighbor lived there for over 7 years and she said that the last 2 have been the worst ever. There were problems in her apartment that she had been telling the office about for years, they fixed them after she moved out. I have seen alot of the new people that are moving in, the reason they are going there is because they can't rent anywhere else. You said that you used the pool this past summer, you must have been one of those people who ignored all the signs that managment posted all over the place saying "Pool Closed" after putting cleaning chemicals in it. Or were you and your kids swimming when the water was the same color as anti-freeze? Management is almost if not as bad as the condition of the apartments. Constently losing paperwork, their idea of 24 hr notice is to put flyers on the doors at 9:30 at night when they are going to be knocking on your door at 8 in the morning. Oh, and how many people had their cars towed when they decided to tell everyone that they were redoing the parking lots at the last minute, during the holiday season when alot of people were out of town on vacation, with less then 24 hrs notice I might add. I also noticed that right after they pulled this stunt, all but one person in the office left for out town themselves. They also have a bad habit of tell you that something is ok and then sending you a violation notice when you do it. They seem very selective on who can do what and what rules apply to who. From what can be on your porch or balcony or what the pet policy is. When it comes to your body guard comment, the place advertises that it has security, why advertise what you don't have. I could go on and on about the problems with that place but I will leave it at that. Oh, I know I have made some spelling mistakes but so did you, and just because someone can't spell correctly doesn't mean that their points are not valid.
