It was very nice at first, moved in summer 07. Management changed several times, new poeple are lazy, dont fix trash compactor or gates. They also lost my lease and said I owed them thousands in month-to-month charges and late fees, until I brought them my copy of the lease I had signed months before. But biggest problem is a few months ago the complex had several breakins (at least 10) in a month, and they did NOTHING. I know they cant totally protect us from crime but other complexes in the area at least made an effort by hiring security to patrol and having security cameras. When I asked them what they were planning to do I was told by them they were going to do NOTHING, the reason given was they couldnt garrenty anything was going to work so they werent going to make themselves liable by making any efforts to protect the propery. Other neighboring properties did make efforts, so the point is that when we as residents really needed them, we found out just how little they cared about our personal safety.
The rent is kinda cheap here by stone oak standards($772 for 1 bedrooom), and the location is great, parking is awesome, neighbors are quite. The apts are huge on the inside and lots of big windows. But if you move here you should probably get an alarm system installed.
