It used to be alot better...

My husband and I have lived for around 3 years now. When we first moved in, we were very happy with everything. The staff in the office was great!
Now, however, things aren't so great. This new management people aren't as nice or courteous as the one before. A few times some of the staff has been rude to my husband. Once we were quoted a rate on a renewal, then another girl in the office said that wasn't right and she laughed about it... luckily, the girl that gave us the original quote had put it in writing, so we got that price. Also, when we renewed, we asked if we could have our carpets cleaned, after 2 1/2 years, the carpets will get dirty regardless if you have a pet or not, well, we were told that the "special" for renewing was either a free carpet cleaning, or the discounted rate on rent... seriously' who would take the free carpet cleaning'
The gates are ALWAYS broken, but I kinda don't mind cause I hated waiting for the gate to open and then wait for the bar to come up to come hom, especially when I was tired from work.
On the positive side, whenever I have had a problem with maintenance, they are almost always here the same day, if not the next day. We have a dog that we never paid for, and the maintenance guys havent ratted us out.. so for us, thats been great, but Im sure our days are numbered!
My neighbors are very nice. My upstairs neighbor is a little noisy, but nothing awful.
My husband and I are now looking for another place though, we're not too happy about the complex anymore, its been going downhill lately. I hope it gets better though, this is a very nice area, and its not cheap. We moved out here because he works in this area, but we're looking to relocate because we want something better for our money.
