I was living in my apartment with dead pigons for 3 mths till they took out the dead pigins from my attic smell from the roting pigions always got me and my son sick so we always left to hope that when we came back the smell whould be gone. We could not put on the ac and the heater because the smell would just get worst like we were living in a mortuary. This is when it was freezing cold out side and we had no heater to keep us warm. The managers are the worst there nice to you to get you into a apt then after that if you have a question or need help with something they whould do it with attitude or they will ask for your number that they have in file and never call you back to fix the problem. I lived with roches for 8 mths and they always said we got it fixed but every night we had to sleep tight under our covers hoping that the roches whould not crawl on to of us but that whouldnt always help. We lived with ands crawling through our windows every night because there was a big gap through our windouw that htey did not want to fix. It was just not 1 or 2 ants it was literly 100 of ands it was the worst feeling ever. We wanted to move out so bad but we had no were to go and the last thing that mad us move out was the fact that mold was growing every where on our vents on our refrigerater on our floor, if we had went out to eat and brought food home and left the wraper out for a couple of hours it whould grow mold. Then i started realizing my son was always sick. So then we decided to leave and they told us no even though we told them about the problem with the mold and they told us that it is so post to be like that. So we wrote them a certified letter and it took them took weeks to actually read it at that time we said we gave you a resanable time to respond and there was nothing done so as it says in our lease we have the right to leave so she said thats fine and i told her we will leave oct 5 and she said fine she prorated out rent and we paid $80.00. Then now it is about to be january 1 2008 and they phoneix recovery calls us saying that we had abandon our apt and we have to pay 1000. So even though im out of the apt i am still having to deal with the worst apt. So please do not live in this apt unless you want roches or bad managment that you would be living with till your lease is up.
