I have lived at Altamonte for nearly 2 years. I have not had one issue with the complex since my arrival. I rented sight-unseen, and we very pleased with my choice. Their rates are 5-10% lower than any other apartment complex in this area. Maintainence is always friendly and prompt. Once in a while there is emergency water shut offs that are unexpected and that can be inconvenient. The kitchens are always very small, and the bugs have been worst this summer than last (could be the weather, could be the exterminator). Parking is fantastic - I never have a problem, nor do my friends. One inconvenience is that they will do ACH payments for your rent, but they can't do ACH payments for you $8 water bill. A drop box in Phase II for the front office would also be a convenient option for them to add. The pools are incredible, and it's a great place for kids (despite some fast moving cars through the complex - me included).

Overall, you won't find a better value for your dollar and I highly recommend you get your apartment on a really good special.
