I thought this would be a good place to move. It was at first, but the management proved to live up to the negative issues I have since read about them. I was relocated by my job, and the management would do nothing to help me with my lease, even though I am in a 1st floor, single bedroom apartment that they could rent anytime they want. It just shows that they would prefer just to stick it to someone. So, now I live more than 3 hours away, and have to have someone else take a check over there for their greedy selves. Not only that, but they wouldn't take that check, and demanded a money order. In addition to that, they also charged a 50 dollar late fee, even though nothing was late. Keep in mind that all of this is for a place I do not even reside in! I would highly recommend avoiding this place like the plague!

And, for those who find the need to question my ratings, the very rude and unhelpful staff far outweigh the other issues, in my opinion.

If we are going to argue about details such as overall ratings, then spell the words "doesn't", "unfortunately", "apartment's", "dissolved", and "wouldn't" correctly. I think this place is lousy and takes money from me when I don't even reside there. Then they have the nerve to charge a late fee for not accepting a check I had to have a friend drop off (because I do not reside there), who then had to give them a money order. Oh, and if 50% satisfaction is sufficient to operate a successful business, then we are all in for lousy service! Since you seem like a lawyer wannabe, please learn the language! By the way, have you ever heard of a weighted average? Maybe that is higher math for you, Einstein!

Dang. I wanted to respond but it deleted my initial response. It seems like a lot of people are bitter here and it seems that it is normally because of money issues with an apartment. Maybe you need to find a hobby. Either that or a good stress ball. I have enjoyed my stay and found this place to be one of the better apartments. The arguments I made seems like it hit you where it hurts. You signed a lease and just because you decided to move and not live there when your lease hasn't expired yet doesn't mean the apartment is (or should be) responsible. Regardless of why you moved. There are legal ways to get out of a lease but your way of dealing with it seems to be venting on a website, not pursuing them. Correct me if I am wrong. If you are late on rent then it has to be a money order. They are not picking on you. The short answer is, get your bills paid on time. I am sure it was explained to you when you leased the apartment. If it wasn't then shame on them. The 50% I was talking about was not that 50% approval for an apartment is good in general but if 50% approve of a place when the average place doesn't have as high of an approval rating then 50% is good. Kind of like the curve in high school or college. Too add to that, this apartment also has one of the most ratings for San Antonio on this website. That can be either good or bad but because it has a rating of 50% with so many ratings and 50% is in the higher echelon of apartments then that is a good thing. "Coincidently", with your "weighted average" you rate office staff as more important than all of the other categories both individually and combined. I can agree with a "weighted average" except that when you posted no positives about the apartment in your written review but yet most of what you rated was a 3 and that your whole written review was about a money issue with the office staff and this just happen to be your most important area it just didn't add up. Thank you for the compliment. I am not an attorney or a wannabe attorney but my biological father was one. I never really knew the man but maybe it is in the genes. But you are right. I do need to double check my work for spelling mistakes. Regardless of if it is on a important document or a website like this. Good point. How is my spelling now?
