Here is the thing..........this staff is so ass backwards they don't know where to crap. I lived at the altamonte for 2 years. The first year we wanted to move but waited too long so we renewed our lease. We did not have many problems the first year, except that things that needed to get fixed did not get fixed right and I would have to call several times for them to fix the same item correctly.
What started all the bad tension was when we had an incident with a crazy, drunk or on drugs lady. She called my 10 year old daughter a ----- and fipped her off. I was so shocked, I didn't know what to do. When I tried to ask the lady what happened, she told me to go to hell and that is when I lost it. I called the police and they said she was a mental paitent and she was obviously highly intoxicated!!! The police blamed her and told us to call the office to make a formal complaint, so I did. When I did, the property manager turned the tables on me and told me that it was my daughters fault. I was shocked again!!! Then, she tried telling me my daughter was running around the neighborhood vandalising it and come to find out, the person's child who was being the vandal was an employee of the altamonte!!!!! Linda Baker is the property manager and she tried to say I needed to watch my daughter but yet, I believe it was Sophia Perez, her son was Christian, who's child was always unattended to and vandalising the neighborhood!!! What a bunch of crap! This was just the first run in with Linda Baker to end my lease with them. Then we had issues with Doris and other staff members. The only one that was nice and helpful was Christina.
These people look at you as a number, they do not want to help and they do not care about your safety! When I discussed safety issues with Linda she told me....and I quote "we are not responsible for your safety and well being"! WOW!!! I moved here because it was gated and suppose to be safe but that was not the case!
So, they decided not to renew our lease because we made too many complaints. And when we asked why we could not renew, they refused to tell us!
I even tried to call the property managment company and I spoke to the VP but nothing was ever done. They said they would call back to let me know about my complaint, but they never did.
Then, when we left, they made a mark on our lease so it would be hard for us to find another apartment when we left. Little did they know, not everyone out there are -------s!
This is the worst experience with an apartment complex in my life!!!!!! The staff members are extremely rude, the maintenance team does not know how to fix anything, they are not in the business for customer service.....they just want your money!!!
I will NEVER refer anyone to this apartment complex & I hope all the staff members get what is coming to them!!!!! Karma is a -----!
And..........I AM SURE the staff members go into this information and write rebuttles to the negative responses so they can show their boss that "other's " are sticking up for them.
I can keep writting and writing about bad experiences with the staff but I am just so glad to be away from them that I really don't care anymore; I just wanted to say my 2 cents because my friend is going through the experience now. I wish I knew her before I moved in b/c I never would have chosen the Altamonte!!

you know it's a funny thing...only in this city, and no i don't like it here, would another company have the gall to tell a person they can't give you a reason for something. ALL companies have to give you a reason if they refuse to serve you, work with you or, in this case, renew your lease. i understand what you are going through because since i have moved to this dreadful arrogant city i have had numerous dealings with companies who would rather sit on their asses that to actually work with a person. time after time i have gotten the excuse,"i don't know, i didn't do, it's someone else's job, i can't help you". what it really is is pure fat ass laziness and selfishness. sounds like they are just another company who would rather blame the good guy than take responsibility because that is the easy way out.

I lived her too years ago. Seems the management hasnt changed a bit. Linda Baker and Doris Peters were there when I was living there and they were the same way back then too. They are 2 of the most rudest people you will EVER meet. Linda Baker just needs to get off her FAT A** and realize what her property is turning into..but instead she sits behind her desk and thinks she is gods gift to the world...well Mrs. Baker...YOUR NOT...WITHOUT YOUR TENANTS, YOU WOULD NOT HAVE A JOB!!!

Sounds to me like you were whiney, demanded too much and they didnt want you there anymore. Why would you care? You wanted to leave anyway... Also, if they wouldnt tell you why they wouldnt renew your lease... how do you know it's because you complained too much? High maintenance tenants are the worst kind. Your sink is clogged? Get some ------- draino crybaby. Oh and yeah, Kristina is awesome.
