I failed to do the walkthrough and the Amberton told me I owed them $189.50 for how filthy and torn up the apartment was left. I left the apartment spotless. I always kept my apartment looking nice and spent time cleaning before I left. I was shocked! I had always paid my bill early (they also came up saying I owed them water bills!!!)I sent a certified letter explaining that this wasn?t true. During the time I lived there, I had a peeping tom-kind of scary since I was a young female living alone, and a kitchen sink that wouldn?t just drip but kept running after I turned it off. I asked them to come and fix that sink twice,both times it started doing the same thing after a few weeks. I resorted to turning the sink on and off from underneath (a real pain) I STILL have collection agengies calling me at work about the charges. I have asked for pictures, or some kind of proof and I get nothing but threats to be sued. So
DON?T DO BUSSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!! Trust me they are liars and thieves.
