i have 3 vehicles and 2 motorcycles, while living at the amberton, all 3 of my vehicles were broken into and one of my motorcycles was stripped for parts in the middle of the night...the police had no answers but it was determined by the police that a tenant in the building across from me had stripped my motorcycle and put the parts onto his motorcycle. the rest of myself and my children and wife's personal belongings were never recovered. If you like having your property stolen I would recommend that you live at the amberton if not I would recommend the Pebble beach apartments in the ghetto in front of randolph air force base, they're cheaper but at least nothing was ever stolen from there and the rent was cheaper. Also the amberton claims to have around the clock security however many of the residents have seen the security guard asleep in his/her truck at night.

We moved here in October 08 and are still living here. Aside from a few things we asked them to fix, they've been nice and we actually feel very safe here. There's ethnic diversity, which is nice, and no one has ever messed with us. Our cars are humble, and we don't leave valuables out in the open. We've never anything about people being robbed here til now. Maybe he just had the bad luck of moving in near a bad person. Bad people can live in any apartment complex. It is true that the gates are messed up more often than we'd like and stay open while broken, but overall we feel safe here.
