I lived there from September 2002 to September 2003. The place was nice to begin with. The managers at the time were very good about who they rented to. Within the past year, though, the management changed. Around this time they started to not care who they rented too, and there were a lot of druken parties. The cops were usually there on the weekends, and there would be a bunch of beer bottles and cans strewn about the parking lot the next day. There would also be trash all about as well. At this point I decided not to renew my lease since it seemed that the management was not going to kick these people out. They were not even doing anything about the abandoned cars that were left in the parking lot to rot. The place started to turn more into a run-down trailer park rather than an apartment complex. Oh, and the exploding pipe thing, I can vouche for that. I had no less that four instances where I would come home to a drenched mess in either the kitchen, bathroom, or the closet above the water heater. The maintenance men were really good about showing up quickly, but still it should not have come to that. Overall if the management would not have just leased to anyone, then I think it still would have been a place to call home.
