PARKING: I was one of the first tenants to move into building 6. It did take a couple months to get all of my paperwork 'confirmed' unlike other apartments which usually only take a few days (a week or so at most). I was absolutely IN LOVE with my apartment. Buildings 7, 8, 9, etc were still under construction and as each building was opened up, the parking problem got worse and worse. There are not enough spots for each unit. Parking is so bad that you are basically FORCED into paying extra for a carport or garage.. (which is obnoxious, given that this complex is for people who don't make a lot of money!!) and even then, it's still an inconvienence because people park there anyway. Since I work evenings and got tired of walking from the front of the complex to my apt, I got a carport. I was on the phone with the towing company every single night for a week and a half solid. I am NOT dishing out extra money for random punks to have an easy parking spot... and neither is anyone else who rightfully pays their ----.
One night, I witness this one b! ch standing on one of the balconies, watching and waiting for someone to park in HER spot, a car pulls up and she yells down "I'm gonna call the tow truck!!" and the other girl said that someone was parked in HER spot... then the woman on the balcony turned into her apt and a second later this dude came running down to move his car from her spot. WTF''!! This b! ch was going to tow someone else when SHE was the one in the wrong'' Completely ghetto!!
PEOPLE: You will notice a bunch of bratty little wannabe-thug kids running around ALL DAY, EVERYDAY, screaming up and down the breezeways, throwing their trash every where, and even destructing the property. They pry loose some of the landscaping rocks (retaining wall type deal) and smash them against the ground until they have homemade 'baseballs' and start throwing them around... and wait, because when one of them hits your car (like they did to mine) or when they repeatedly key your car (like they did to mine) or when they key your GUEST'S car (like they did to mine) you will be ---- OUT OF LUCK because the office staff won't offer ANY kind of support. Not even so much offering a discounted garage to keep my business. NOTHING. And considering the total amount of damage EXCEEDS MY RENT AMOUNT BY A FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS, that would make some people furious. I am honestly expecting to come down one day and see my car broken into (it happens often) or my rims stolen (it happens often)... I am totally disgusted with the lack of action by the office staff.
MAINTENENCE: I reported a very bad leaky sink (2 buckets full of water in 20 minutes) and it took 3 days for a maintenence person to come fix it. Though I've never had to call them before, this was my first experience and I actually reported it to Jason. So whether or not he put in the work order (like he said he was) I don't know. The experience I had with the maintenence man was perfectly fine. He was very nice, and he didn't take long at all. I haven't seen this particular man around very long, so he may be new.
I loved my apartment so much I was on the waiting list to get a 3 bedroom, but given the state of things (hell, handbasket, ect) I am withdrawing from that and getting the F*CK out of here ASAP!!!!! The bottom line is this, they ARE beautiful apartments, but the F^CKERS they let move in have completely destroyed any chance they had. Where are all these strict rules''' I know I am one of the few who FOLLOW THEM. You don't have to be materialistic to honestly care about the things you DO have... and if that sounds like you, DO NOT MOVE HERE!

Ok this is really discouraging news due to the fact that I want to move my family out of Artisan at Willow Springs on the East Side for the same problems and was ACTUALLY considering moving to the Artisan on the Bluff. Sounds like they are a bluff and I guess it doesn't matter what side of town you live on. It is VERY sad that people have no pride in themselves.

I'm not liking the reviews I've been seeing. I don't want to have my truck keyed or have to pay extra for a place to park my vehicle just so that it can be safe. Another resident told me they had peeping toms also. I don't want to live in an apt where I feel unsafe.

This is kind of what I expected from this place. I went to look at paperwork to move in and there was a kid with a G-Unit shirt on, chains, and a cellphone ringing non-stop. I can't deal with parents not watching their kids. Ridiculous. Low income complex though...what do you expect? I feel like my search for a place to live in San Antonio is hopeless.
