Well, I've experienced nothing but bad from this complex. Tos start I have been flooded over 10 times with 3 major floods flooding the entire apartment and have been moved to a 3rd floor to prevent more swamps......send it to the people under me now. I have talked to other residents and I get the same story from them....."It's a great place if you like floods". The complex is old and the hardware is only replaced with new if it no longer funtions, so they do everything to keep it till the end. Carpets in both my places were filthy but not bad enough to replace, like I said "if it functions it stays". Here's my list of problems.....draw your own rating based on this: 1) Over 10 floods with 3 major ones flooding entire apartment. 2) 2 Power outages only related to my apartment, while sleeping. 3) Dishwasher fell out of fixing. 4) Front and back doors both were slanted releasing air. 5) Heater went out 3 times durring winter. 6) Toilet runs constantly on the hour 7) Freezer leaked 3 times total causing me to loose lots of meet. 8) Disposal has broke several times and runs extremely loud, (but it works so forget about replacing it, even though it wakes the nighbors when used) 9) Isn't that enough in a year'
Well keep in mind that all of these problems have honestly happended to both apartments that I have lived in at Ashley Oaks in a years time. I strongly recommend staying away from there. With all these problems the only sympathy I have recieved is $50 off 1 month of rent, LOL $50, give me a break! I've spent half the year dealing with problems and everyone I have spoke to have said the same.
Ashley Oaks has recently changed over their management, but to me it is not worth it to even take the chance.
