I don't mean to bad mouth people, but sice the apartments became Katrina relief apartments, crime is up, SAPD is constantly in the complex, people just walk around late at night, and hang out my the mailboxes, which I heard from someone that they are dealing drugs at the mailboxes, since it is by the gate. Speaking of, the gate is constantly broke. When the fix it, the next day it is broke again. My car was broken into a month ago, my passenger side window shattered. When I told office management about it, they had no sympathy at all and didn't even act concerned. I've witnessed 2 young guys walking around looking into the first floor patios, probably for things to steal. I told office management about it, and again they didn't act concerned. It's like they don't care at all about the safety of the place, they just care about getting their rent money. Maintenance sucks! If anything is broken in your apartment, count on it taking a few months to get it fixed, even after you've called every single day. The maintenance men are, according to management, "very busy", but yet I see them just hanging around the complex talking and smoking! Here it is the middle of April and 90 degrees everyday, but yet the pools are still filthy.
