When I moved in this was apartment home living, grounds were well kept, children were maintained and the grass was green with blooming flowers...then new management-Jennifer took over, the place went downhill it turned into a Katrina shelter, dog poop everywhere, junk cars, vandalism, loud noise, trash, drug dealing, lack of maintenace, always an excuse, the office staff blames each other, burglaries, vehicles constantly being broken into, unattended children from morning to night, trashed pool and playground areas and you see more SAPD vehicles on the premises than you do in the SAPD stations...They love to sell that there is SAPD security that lives on site, between him and the office staff they fear the tenants that you make noise complaints on, there is always people drinking on the HVAC units outside your apartment, on the stairwells, by the mailboxes and outside the office by the gates(which by the way NEVER work for more than a week and will go about 4 months before they fix them again) even during business hours and office and security ignore complaints and tell you to contact SAPD, and when you did call SAPD, they even advised you before they would leave to make sure you locked up as this was turning into one of the worse complexes in the area and that is really sad as there are nothing but apartment complexes down this street ...even you want to live like this you can do that on the other side of town for one third the rent and probably a safer environment...if you care about your safety and that of your children...don't bother stopping here as I ran as fast as I could!!!

I agree....I can't wait until my lease is up. Somebody through a pot plant through my front bedroom window where my little boy sleeps...broke the window...I am scared to death living in this crime ridden dump. I am trying to find a legal loop hole to get out of this rat hole!!!

We know all about it. SAPD doesnt care either. No one cares...youre on your own at Austin Pointe. Maybe someone should contact troubleshooters and have it exposed...then maybe someone would care.
