I have lived at babcock north for 11months now. I Love it. I live in the four plexes. I havent had but a few problems. If i had mant problems i call and they are there within two days, most time the same day if its important, not i need my light bulb changed and i cant reach it (which i call for and they come and do). My patio is all grass very clean and the grss cutters always cut my yard. I have to ask bc its MY yard, but never any problems. The office is great. I had a couple of problems with the construction and alleged drug dealers, let the office know, and the perople were investegated and evicted, with profuse apologies. The wash room is always clean as well as the parks. There is a skate park andpublic pool, but never both us. as far as parking goes i have NEVER had to walk more than ten feet to my apartment. It always has parking. Its low income but very nice. I have been late a few times and never anything mean just a friendly note telling me, and if you talk to them they work with you. There is construction going on and it gets noisy sometimes but never enough to bother me. They always have community events which i love and the resource center. since i have lived there there was one incident were yes there was a stabbing. The office though did send out letters to everyone and offer coucel options and a direct number if we have questions and or concer, and it was a friend of the resident who caused the trouble. They handeled it VERY well. I love my neighbors they always let me know if im getting too loud (becuase im young we like to have fun) in stead of making a complaint or calling the cops. The complex is quite and smells of bar b que often. I LOVE IT! it is my first aparment on my own and i will resigne my lease.

Ive lived here for 7yrs some in the fourplexes some in the apt. I have had an open work order since may. i know someone else that it took 1yr to get the problem fixed.there is more crime on the property now then there has ever been. even the office has been broken into several times but they keep it hused hushed. The laundry room is always filthy, people throw their lint rags,all kinds of trash on the floor and there is a trashcan there. people sleep and do drugs in there too, and mgmt ask well did you call the cops do you know who it was. Mgmt clocks out and you dont see or hear from them until its time to clock in. if mgmt is not going to stay on top of things after hours than they need to get som security on the property. we are are out here alone with the criminals. and there are criminals out here, mgmt has rented to known felons, mgmt KNOWS there are unauthorized longterm"Guests", mgmt even socializes with some of them. The skate park thats a joke, a resident had their car tagged by the skaters and gang bangers that hang out there. the pool was only open from end of may to july, too many problems. now that it is empty the skaters and gang bangers are in the empty pool skating ang tagging. there is a new complex going up and it has broken windows everywhere and tagged.The construction people are alwys coming over and using our plugs and water, mgmt knows but has done nothing about it.Yes there was a stabbing and we got letters, but a few weeks later there was a drive by and no one was notified. There are sink holes(not potholes) on property. People in the fourplex and 2story are mysteriously getting flats. It use to be quiet, now all you ever hear are tires squelling, engines racing,music baseing at all hours of the day and night even in front of the office, kids in the middle of the road unsuppervised, trash everywhere(except when mgmt is havng an inspection than they pull maint away from their work until property is spotless). as far as smells man if they could get the trash dumpsters emptied reguarly and the trash in it that might help the smell and keep the skunks off the property and the abandoned cats. Bar b que ha! must be your own.Now that i think of it the person who wrote the glowing comment must be mgmt or set up by them to do this. Mgmt just clocks in and out and collects a paycheck, they dont care about the property they think we all are low income and don't deserve any better. They go home to their castle every night and its screw the resident if anything happens at night, mgmt has NEVER shown up after hours when there has been problems! YOU ARE PROBABLY THINKING WELL WHY DONT YOU MOVE, WELL IT USE TO BE HALFWAY DECENT HERE AND I CANT AFFORD $1000. RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE SO I DONT REALLY HAVE MUCH CHOICE ON WHERE TO MOVE RIGHT NOW. BUT AS LONG AS I'M PAYING MY RENT THAT IS NO REASON FOR MGMT TO CONTINUE TO TREAT THE RESIDENTS LIKE THIS. I could go on but im sure mgmt will try to figure out who i am and will find some way to get me evicted. its your nckle but i wouldnt rent here!!
