I am also in the military and just recently moved out of Bandera Commons. I also had to put in my 30 days notice to vacate along with my orders. This is in the lease for the Military Clause. And it is across te board for all military. Why should you be any different. My experenience with the office staff was always welcoming and friendly. I understand that they have their policies that they must follow.

I think what she is stating is that even though this ridiculous policy is in the military clause, it's not fair. If you're an active duty member during war time, why should you be required to give a 30 day notice? Most troops don't even receive a 30 day notice when they are called to leave. What ever happened to support the troops? Their policy should consider what is happening in the world right now. It's obvious that the statement above was written by someone that didn't go to war and actually had a permanent change of station and had plenty of time to submit a 30 day notice. Get a clue next time before you decide to write!
