We've lived here at Bella Madera for a while.. we moved in after spending two weeks at a resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. This place is just as nice as the 5 star resort we stayed at. Our apt overlooks the pool, which is the prettiest pool in San Antonio. When we look out our bedroom window it's like we never left the resort and we're still on vacation. The staff is friendly and helpful, the gym includes free tanning. The grounds are well kept and always quiet. We have never had a problem, have never heard our neighbors through the walls, or has any security issues. There is sometimes parking issues and the place lacks a playground area for kids.. but overall I wouldn't live in any other apt complex in SA. And yes Ed is terrific, but the rest of the staff is nice too!

We loved our apartment at Bella Madera! The beautiful pool with cascading waterfalls, the gorgeous landscaping, & the huge closets! The club house is lovely. We lived on the third floor, 15' high ceilings. Everyone loved my apartment, and loved to visit and swim. I read lots of nice comments about Ed. Yes, he was quite personable! I agree with the couple who said they compare Bella Madera to a 5 star resort in Mexico. We use to say the same thing! Our property reminded us of our resort in Playa del Carmen, or Cancun. Enjoy!
