Do not move here! I've been a resident for almost a year and continue to be disappointed by the poor quality of these apartments. Fixing the outside will not fix the poor conditions on the inside. Do not fall for the model apartment that they show b/c none of the apartments look even remotely like it. The water leaves and orange residue and is not drinkable. The restrooms look like they have not been updated at all. The wood on the cabinets are falling apart. There is a lack of storage room. My recent problem is roaches the size of my big toe! I pride myself on keeping a clean apartment and management doesn't seem to have a problem w/residentts living w/this problem. Worst of all, I pay $600/mo for this crap!

| I'd like to address the following issues that were brought up: 1. Bent Tree is currently going through extensive exterior rehab. We are currently in the process of installing new siding, updating the railings and once these are completed, we will be painting the property. As for the interiors, we have started using two-tone paint, new floor tiles are being installed, all new appliances, installation of digital programmable thermostats, etc. This is an on-going project and we???ve already seen the difference these updates have done to the units. 2. As for the orange residue, please contact the office so we may look into this. This is an issue we have not been made aware of. 3. Out of our 7 floor plans there are only 2 that do not have additional outside storage on the patio. We will be more than happy to discuss this with anyone should they require additional storage. There???s always an option to transfer should this be an amenity our residents require. Keep in mind, we do have a transfer policy in place. 4. World Wide Pest Control services our community, and they are here weekly to address any pest control issues. Again, we will be more than happy to specifically address units who may require their services. Please do not hesitate to come by the office if you feel you need to discuss these issues further. We have an open door policy and we are always available for our residents. Thank you. | |

I have a had a bed bug problem that started when a mattress was left outside my building. The problem started in May 2007 and it is now Nov 2007 and the problem still exists. My son and I have been dealing with getting bitten every night and I have had enough. As for World Wide Pest Control, I do not think they are very knowledgable b/c this Bug infestation could have been taken care of in 3 weeks and not 5 months. I feel that fixing the outside will not make up for what is inside the apartment. Yes they may have put new siding and painted but the wood that was rotting is underneath it. This is not a healthy place to live if the tenant is getting bitten by bugs. One other things is that other tenants do not pick up after their pets poop on the property grounds. People walk their dogs and let them poop in front of other buildings and not their own bulidings. I definetly do not recommend this complex...
