I have lived here for a little over 2 years. I was not planning on staying here I just wanted somewhere to establish my credit background. I have heard horror stories about Bentwood. But I wasn't going to let a 5 year old story stop me from at least checking the place out. Yes the apts are old but the courtesy that I got from the staff when I went to veiw the apt was something that I had not experienced. As we walked through the property everyone who was outside was acknowledged by the manager. It seemed very homey comfortable and a good environment that I wanted for my children. So I said ok just for a year. The respect that I have received from the staff is beyond what I have come to expect from an appartment community. When my lease expired I went looking around, but when I would walk into the office of other apts I would not get the warm feeling of welcomeness that you get when you go to the office at Bentwood. Service request, yes, they fix things. Security, yes, they have it. Rent very low in price if you ask me. But there is one thing that you cannot meassure and that is the hospitality courtesy and respect that you receive from the manager.
If you ask me I think that is what counts. I feel like I'm coming home when I get off of work not just going to my APARTMENT. It really is HOME SWEET HOME.
