Management has allowed what would be a lovely complex turn into a hell hole.

When my husband & I first moved into this complex, we were very pleased. Lovely landscaping & pool areas. As well as unique apt layouts. The staff at the time were very helpful.
Immediately (within a couple of months) management changed, as well as a complete staff turnover, with the exception of one lady (not the friendliest of the crew).
Following this, the pool area that we liked alot was virtually unusable. Our apt flooded 2 times. This was due to maintenance screw ups in an apt next door. In mid-summer, the maintenance somehow accidentally shut off our a.c. unit & left for the day. They did this 3 days in a row!!!! They said they meant to turn the unit off to an unoccupied apt. But 3 times''' WTF' My husband eventually pried open the locked switch box & turned it back on. The next day we informed the staff of this. After that we had no problem with the a.c. anyway.
But the staff were less than apologetic for their mistakes. They acted snooty & annoyed with US!
We did renew our lease 2 times. We did not want to move to a new apt. We were waiting to get a house, which thankfully, we did. We moved out about 2 mos. ago. We were charged hundreds of dollars upon move out. This was for normal wear & tear, like new carpet needed. It was stained due to the floods, for instance. Instead of going through court proceedings, we opted to pay & get the f**k outta there.
So basically, it was the worst experience I have ever had. And we got screwed in the end. No one ever even said sorry for all the inconveniences.
Other issues
1. High crime rate! There was a gang shooting one of the apt entrances, a 19 year old boy was shot in the head & killed.
2.There are sex offenders in the apt across the street.
3. There was a shooting at the pool across the street last summer.
4. A woman was raped in her apt across the street, management would not replace her locks immediately & she was attacked a 2nd time. She sued the complex, which was run by the same management company as Blue Swan.
5. There were several break-ins around the complex.
6. My personal experience, a friends car was broken into, satellite radio was stolen.
