I don't know if this is legal or not, but my husband and I signed a one year lease at Braesview. Well, within one month, he got a promotion. To accept it we had to move to California. He took the job, but we were stuck with a newly signed lease. We asked if we could break the lease and pay some fine, but managment said no. They said they only reserve that privilage for military.

So, we moved and carried the rent for an unused apt for about 2 months before it was rented out. We still had a year lease to go with about $1400 on the agreement. The management referred us to a lawyer in Florida...whose office called us in California everyday, 2-3 times a day for collection. We finally settled.

Anyway, Braesview practices are unreal and unfair. Watch what you sign....there are hidden clauses in the lease agreement. Ask lots of questions before you committ yourself.

VERY TRUE AS WELL!!! READ EVERY WORD OF THAT LEASE, IF YOU'RE FOOLISH ENOUGH TO SIGN ONE HERE. There is fine print everywhere and they do NOT like to explain it. They rush you through it and make you feel pressured to "just sign". DON'T DO IT!!!

Do not waste your time looking here. You will be fooled by the large apartments with low rent, but there is good reason for that. The office staff at Braesview is a revolving door of snotty, ignorant women who are little to no help. They will give you the wrong lease and then harrass you to sign, they will send out a notice you must respond to in 60 days, 45 days out, they are the worst scatterbrains I have ever seen in a semi-professional role. We had read/heard the stories about braesview, but decided to rent anyway. DONT make our mistake.
