PLEASE do yourself and your family a huge favor and listen to the reviews written here. This is, by far, the most miserable experience of my life, as far as living situations are concerned.
THE MANAGEMENT IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!! I just cannot emphasize it enough!! PLEASE do not be fooled by their fake smiles and false kindness, because that ends the instant you sign that lease. They are RUDE, insolent, condescending, harassing and absolutely do NOT care about you or any problems that occur. NOTHING in the complex works. Rent is due ON the first of the month, with NO leeway AT ALL. On the second, they tack on an additional 250 dollars in bullsh*t fees and late charges, and then it grows daily from there. ANY problems that you have here are YOUR problem and they will not lift a finger to make anything right or correct. And if they happen to take a personal disliking to you, they WILL go out of their way to harass you. Believe that!!
I've never dealt with such horridly rude and awful people. There's no way to explain it! You just have to see for yourself, but believe me, you don't want to!! The buildings are shoddy and falling apart. The wood is rotting on the balconies and the nails are ALL coming out of the wood. Even in the building itself! The appliances and everything else are ancient. They offer you renewal incentives, such as ceiling fans or carpet cleaning, etc. but in 3 years of renewal, they NEVER did ANY of the things they promised they would. Not once. There is NO insulation, so the electric bills are outrageous!!! I'm talking about 180 dollars per MONTH for a ONE bedroom apartment!!! Not to mention the noise and smells of everything else going on seeping into your apartment. They allow dogs, so if you are unlucky enough to be placed in a building with someone that has a dog(s), you will be stuck listening to the little bastard barking and yipping 24/7. And the same thing with children, yelling, screaming and making noise. It's ridiculous. When the wind blows, you can feel it through all the windows, because there is no sealing around the windows!!!
And there is NO parking. AT ALL. If you arrive home past 5 p.m., you will be walking from another building far from yours to get a spot. If it's after 7 or 8 p.m., you're out of luck. Park on the curb in the fire lane and hope they don't tow you. There are seriously and LITERALLY no parking spots!! There is no assigned parking. It is just ridiculous to pay the kind of rent they charge there and then not even have a place to park remotely close to where you pay all that money to live. Again, they don't care. NONE of the rent money they collect goes back into this complex in any way, shape or form.
They do have "landscaping" people (if you consider simply mowing the grass and nothing else "landscaping". And when do they weed wack and cut the grass'' SEVEN A.M.!!!! So, you're trying to sleep in on the weekend, or get those last precious minutes of sleep before work, and BAM! a weed wacker or lawn mower blaring right outside your window. They have no consideration of the residents for anything they do. OH! And know this!! THEY WILL LET THEMSELVES IN TO YOUR APARTMENT ANY TIME THEY WISH, FOR ANY REASON THEY WISH!!!!!!! If they have a letter or anything for you, rather than putting it on your door, as they are suppose to do, they try to let themselves in and who knows what they do once they're in. I was smart enough to finally change my locks. They let contractors they know nothing about into your home, with your things and personal information as well. WITHOUT any contact, regardless of what you tell them. They don't care about you. Period. Plain and simple. The laundry facilities are filthy, and don't work properly. In THREE years, they would NOT fix the washers, which only have COLD water or the dryers, which do NOT even come close to drying the clothes. They are as wet as they were before you put them in there, and you just wasted a buck fifty. Not to mention the dirt, debris, dead leaves and bugs that are in the bottom of the washing machines because there is NO WINDOW in the laundry rooms!!!!!!! In three years, they never put in a window!! It's just horrible! Ghetto! Run down, broke down and miserable!!! And then, as if things weren't bad enough, they went section 8 (without even telling anyone, even upon renewal), so now they've really got some bad elements here, worse than before. And it's just going to keep getting worse. They have no respect for you, they do not care anything about you. Don't be fooled!! The ----- always comes smiling and they ARE the -----! They are horrible!!!! Every time I ever saw anyone signing a lease I wanted to stop them and warn them. But for fear of the managment's retaliation, I never could. Until now!! I just wish more people knew about this site so they could save themselves a HUGE pain by moving here. GET THE WORD OUT!! Braesview SUCKS!! And if you even remotely care about someone, do NOT let them move in here!!!!!!!! There is not one single solitary redeeming quality of this complex. Not one. This is hell, and the "management" are -----'s helpers. This place and the people who run it are evil. Even the actual property managment company themselves, that own this complex along with others are of absolutely no help resolving situations. They refer you right back to the management here, which is impossible to deal with! Save yourselves! Don't even drive by here, much less stop!!!!!!

If you hated it so much and have so many complaints why did you stay for 3 years?
