My husband and i found brandon oaks online and were unpleasantly surprised. While the rent is reasonably. (we paid 875 for a 3 bedroom.) it is obvious where they cut costs. there are very old run down apartments that smell of smoke and have tiles falling off of the walls. the office staff is rude at best. The youth center is not allowed any monye while the exterior of the office area is lavishly redone frequently to attract new comers. generally the place has a neighborly feeling. however, it is very run down and when you move out they will charge you for things that were there when you moved in even if you reported them in your initial inspection! we ultimately opted to pay $1500 to get out of our lease. we think it was worth not having the office knock on our door simply b/c we took the mini blinds down for a cleaning!
