Bristol Canyon at Encino Commons

Honest Review From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/9/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   My occupant and I signed a 13 month lease with Bristol Canyon, and now looking back I would have reconsidered signing such a long lease. The property is very well kept, the old matinence man was very helpful, but the poor guy had no help and eventually quit due to being over worked in the Texas summer heat, the floorplans are very nice and I felt the pricing was fair for the apt. size I recieved. Prior to move in we recived a great special which lowered the rent even further, and the staff was very helpful. I fell in love with this complex, but over time little things started to get to me. First the location is horrible I work 5 min. away without traffic, but getting home I expect to wait at LEAST 30 min to get back. From early afternoon to early evning there is traffic galore. The gate to the right is always broken and doesn't get fixed for weeks to months at a time, so you can count on random strangers waltzing into the complex at all hours. The trash never builds up which is great but the dog feces sure does. Parking is great never have to park to far from my apartment there is always a spot open, no complaints there. The pool is not really family appropriate there are always young teenagaers and older men in the pool drinking beer, and the pool hours are rarely enforced. This is a great place to get away on the northside of san antonio but only for a couple of months. With gas being as expensive as it is now I simply can't afford to wait 30 min or more in traffic everyday...the location was my only major issue. But other that if you have tons of patience and a economical car I would recommend this apartment complex to you.
