When I first visited the Broadstone Ranch apartments, I thought they looked great. However, this was my first apartment complex and so my ideal apartment wasn't known to me until after two years of living here. For a little over 550 square feet, I'm paying $740. Unfortunately, location has a lot to do with the price. But even than, the price is extremely more than what you are getting. The living room is small, to cover both a living area and a dining area. The bedroom is average, the bathroom is oversized, at least for me it is. It is nearly the size of my bedroom, it's just useless space. So it feels more like 500 sq. feet or even less. Parking is hell. Almost all parking spaces are a 'compact' style. Even my camry has a hard time getting in, that's why I bought a garage. But don't expect the garages to be large or even well placed. The walk I take from my apartment to the garage is unbelievable. Noise is the main reason why I am leaving. My upstairs neighbor is unbelievable. In the middle of the night, music is blaring. This complex is filled with mostly young adults going to UTSA. I, myself, am only twenty one but I'm quiet. I can't stand my neighbors, all heavy drinkers, party people, and even law breakers. The cops have been called several times over the last two years. Twice for gun threats. The maintenance is something I would like, but never receive. I have had a broken dishwasher for over five months but every time the maintenance guys check it out, they said it's fixed, it's not. The staff is the most unstable I've seen. They hire a new person every six months. Getting packages is hard enough. It will take a new person several minutes just to figure out where they put packages. Only two are competent. It's definitely not the worst but it's very below average. I would NOT recommend this to anyone who likes a nice and quite place to call their apartment a home and a sanctuary. IF you like gun threats, loud noise, beer bottles and cans on the ground and very little help, than yeah... I guess you would like it.
