LIVED HERE 1 YEAR and will never return From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/20/2004 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   I moved here on a whim, eager to get out of my parents house and taking advantage of a move-in special. I should've stayed at home. My apartment was not clean when I came the first day and it took 2 weeks before maintenance came to clean the wall next to the dryer that had the thickest coat of lint. I swear it was as thick as a blanket and would keep a homeless man warm for years. Also, there was so much junk underneath the oven - chapstick, button, papers, pens, a whole bunch of miscellaneous dusy old crap that had been sitting there for who khows how long. There was hair in the refrigerator. There was a problem with gnats. The appliances are old - the dish washer doesn't even have a slot for the rinse agent. The washer is loud and small. The fixtures are horrible and cheap. The tile in the restroom is corroded, the mirror (which they said would be fixed, and never was) is peeling from the bottom. The counter top is probably 30 years old. The walls are patched, but not correctly. They didn't take off the switchplates or outlet plates and just painted around it. Left paint everywhere else also. The only good thing about living here, is that I'm not here often and the carpet is new when you move in, but it won't be installed right and you'll be able to see the concrete floor along the walls in some places. The pool is always dirty, you can see a film floating on top, and there's so much gunk at the bottom. I've seen people that don't even live there, drive and park outside and come into the pool area. Everyone and anyone can come swimming!!! The fitness room seems alright at first - until you get on the equipment and it makes a wierd noise, and all the levels don't work. The water cooler is always empty. It's noisy here and don't ever think you'll be able to sleep in on a Saturday or Sunday. Recently there were two break-ins right in the middle of the day!! How could that be happening if we have an active personel' All the staff is in the office and is annoyed when you need anything. I'm glad to be leaving!!!
