First off, the property is right across the street from University Hospital. Everyone who??s complaining about helicopter noise should have realized the proximity to the helipad wouldn??t exactly be conducive to a good night??s sleep.

That said, the residents here are really, really loud. God help you if you live anywhere near the pool. People swim at all hours of the night, despite the 10:00 curfew. And not just swim??that I could handle. They yell, they sing, the throw bottles. It??s like living next door to a honkey-tonk bar.

We??ve also had flooding problems. I can sense your confusion. We??ve had flooding problems not from rain, but from either: 1) Maintenance negligence; 2) Resident Negligence. Several times maintenance has ??repaired?? the plumbing above us, only to ??forget?? to retighten or resecure some crucial piece of piping. Thus, we have been rewarded with soggy carpets and bowing ceilings. In their defense they have offered to change our carpets. And yes, we have changed units, but the same thing has happened over and over.

The office personal has improved since we initially moved in. However, there are still two employees who are extremely contemptuous and dismissive.

This isn??t a horrible place, but it sure isn??t a great one either. There have been several crimes on the property, and residents don??t seem to care if they door your car. If you have a new vehicle I??d advise against parking it on the property; it??ll just get door dings all around the body.

On the plus side it is right next to UTHSCSA, so if you??re a student you don??t have to pay the high prices for a parking permit. The apartment complex is actually closer to campus than the student parking lot.
