I am currently a resident of Broken Oak Townhomes. I have been politely complaining about the raccoons in the walls, the fleas, and the overgrown trees for a month now. My sweet neighbors and I all collaborate to make sure that the office is recieving plenty of calls so they do not blow us off. As of two days ago, the raccoons are dead....in my walls. The smell is horrific!!! I am nauseous and dizzy. I have called their emergency maintenance # twice now, and my neighbors have also called twice for me as well. I even took the time to call Worldwide Pest Control (the company who set the cages up for us) and the on-call man was expecting a call from the office last night. However, broken oak townhomes never called for us. It is now mid-day of day three of dead raccoons, I have huge horse flies in my apartment, fleas, a horrible smell (even with doors open and candles/oils on), and a very sick feeling in my stomach. I recently called the manager's - Jennifer's - cell phone to leave her a message. I am basically in tears because I am feeling so bad.
I will now have to replace my burnt out candles/oils, wash all of my clothing and bedding, have my winter coats dry cleaned, have my furniture washed out, call pest control to do a flea bomb, and go to the doctor soon to handle the aftermath of this problem.
I am praying that they are going to at least give me two months of free rent to compensate for all of this grossness/sickness and laziness on their part!

This is horrible.

i saw your post and and wondered if you have ever called code compliance. That number is 210-207-6650. When a cde compliance officer sees the problems you're having the complex can be condemed. From what you've said it sounds like the place should be. i hope that number helps you.
